Sam and Dean met their Campbell grandparents when they went back in time in season 4 , installment 3 , “ In The source . ” A youthful Henry Winchester traveled to the time to come in time of year 8 , episode 12 , “ As Time go By . ” But Millie does n’t make an appearance . It would make the most sense that she is n’t alive . And a tragic last would excuse why she is n’t spoken about .
Millie ’s innovation mean that all of theWinchester brothers ' grandparents are in the Supernatural business . The family business is ingrained in Sam and Dean inSupernatural . The original show makes it seem like it was because the son mature up in the life , but it ’s clear now that it ’s in their blood . And most of the older appendage of the family had fearful deaths . So Millie ’s death would also proceed that trend .

Are John & Mary Safe In The Winchesters?
IfThe Winchesteruniverse is the same as that of Sam and Dean inSupernatural , Mary Campbell and John Winchester must survive until they die in the original series . The Cupid in “ My Bloody Valentine ” said the union of Mary and John was a top priority so Sam and Dean could be born . So they must outlast the serial soSupernaturalcan even happen .
Azazel killed John in the Apocalypse World , and Mary never made the good deal . This meant that Sam and Dean were never comport . Given that Mary made John promise they would n’t bestow each other back , this Mary is similar to Apocalypse World Mary . John never kept the hope in theSupernaturalworld , a trait Dean have a bun in the oven on inSupernatural . But , of course , as the Arrowverse has shown , there could be many dissimilar universes , and John and Mary could be from a different one . IfThe Winchestersis in a different creation , all bets are off .
Showrunner Robbie Thompson has say thatThe Winchestersepisode 13 will bring out how the prequel link to the original show . Keeping it in theSupernaturaluniverse would make it more restrictive to control canon is n’t messed with . On the other hand , It may be too tragic to make itthe Apocalypse Worldbecause Sam and Dean would never exist . It would n’t unite with Dean Winchester founder John the letter either . So the likelihood is it ’s in the same universe as the original Sam and Dean or in a fresh world entirely .
