When aTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfan consider the mortal villain in theTMNT ’s scalawag ’ gallery , it is likely they guess of theShredder , though there is one other villain who has a nearly identical origin to that of the Shredder , but who proved to be far deadlier – and he was create all by fortuity .
Oroku Saki aka the Shredder was the TMNT ’s first scoundrel in terminal figure of their publication history , which also made him their most iconic . However , in the current persistence of IDW Publishing’sTMNT , the Shredder would have been nothing without another classicTMNTvillain backing him : Krang . Krang is an Utrom from Dimension X who brought the ill-famed mutagen ooze from his world to Earth , and even gave some canister of the inwardness to Shredder to tone his ground forces . Before their inevitable falling - out , Krang and Shredderplanned to take over the reality together . Krang strengthened Shredder ’s Foot Clan to set the world for his mien , and Shredder happily accepted the means to become strong , as he always planned on betraying the alien encroacher . In a way , Krang make Shredder , as it was the Utroms ’ gunk that granted Shredder immortality , and then it was Krang himself who made Shredder way of life more of a threat to the Turtles . Now , it seems as though creating villains is something the Utroms inadvertently made a riding habit of doing .

Krang and the Utroms Accidentally Created the TMNT Villain: Agent Bishop
InTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles#88 by Kevin Eastman , Bobby Curnow , Tom Waltz , and Dave Wachter , the Ninja Turtles feel themselves in the middle of a state of war between mankind ’s secret war machine led by Agent Bishop and the residents of Burnow Island ( i.e. the Triceratons and the Utroms , who are trying to exist in peace ) . In the end , the Turtles are able-bodied to save the Triceratonsand the Utroms from Agent Bishop ’s attack , and in doing so , they uncover a dark enigma : Agent Bishop is a bionic man . When he was a babe , Agent Bishop was born prematurely , and his ontogeny was stunted as a result . Bishop ’s mind developed at a typical rate ( perhaps even at an advanced rate given his understanding ) , but his body did n’t produce larger than the size of an average infant . So , Bishop ’s don developed a robot exosuit his son could operate from within , and the technology that was used to make this wooing came straight from the Utroms .
Back in the 1940s , when Agent Bishop ’s father was a strapping unseasoned secret agent , he and his squad expose an Utrom corpse , one that was inside one of the robot suits Krang made famous in the ‘ 90s cartoon . Upon demand the cadaver and its causa back to their lab and study it over the line of a few tenner , Bishop and his squad were successful in replicating it before make one specifically for Bishop ’s boy . slight did his Fatherhood know at the meter , but he was developing interdimensional applied science for someone who would become one of the most ruthless and deadly villains inTMNThistory . Not only did Agent Bishop outlive the Shredder ( before Saki ’s more recent resurrection , of form ) , but the personal shock he had on the Turtles after killingthe TMNT ’s other blood brother , Slash , was far keen than anything Shredder did to them throughout the IDW run – and it was all thanks to the Utroms .
The Utroms accidentally yield Bishop the technology he ’d need to become a grave threat , just as Krang did everything in his exponent to make the Shredder and his forcefulness even stronger than he already was . The only conflict is , Agent Bishop prove to beeven deadlier than theShredder , and he was aTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesvillain who was created completely by accident .
