The buildings in Firetown are made of metallic element , wood , and brick , and have a chimney . The most notable places in Firetown are The Fireplace , a convenience depot and café incline by the Lumens , the laundromat Smoke Shop , and a Firework shop .
Water District
Water District is the town where all water elements live , among them Wade Ripple and his family , and unlike Firetown , it ’s more open to visitors from other towns , though they all have to be careful as Water District is design to meet the unequalled needs of water supply elements . The construction in Water District have waterfall on the side and most of them are made of Methedrine ( such as the building where Wade and his kinsperson live ) , and everything in town is semitransparent , transparent , and reflective . While Firetown is all about tender people of color , Water District has a cool color pallette to better show how different Ember and Wade ’s world are .
Airville
Another town found in Element City is Airville , the home of all air chemical element . Airville is n’t search inElementalas Wade and Ember never go there , so it ’s unknown what its computer architecture and modus vivendi are really like . Although various air chemical element are seen throughoutElemental , they are all background characters , with the only one to have a proper fundamental interaction with Ember and Wade being Gale Cumulus , Wade ’s boss at City Hall . Due to their composition , melodic phrase elements are , arguably , the most fragile of all element , so their buildings were surely designed to keep them as secure as potential , while also stick around true to the component ’s unique style .
Earthville
All the Earth elements in Element City live in Earthville , which just like Airville , is n’t explored inElementalas Ember and Wade ’s history did n’t take them there . Because of this , the characteristics of Earthville are unknown , but its buildings most likely resemble tree diagram and the city has dissimilar blossom and works . Ember and Wade only interact with two Earth elements inElemental : Clod , Ember ’s young neighbor , and Fern Grouchwood , a administrative official they visit in hope that he will facilitate them save The Fireplace .
Fireland
Outside of Element City , but still part of the universe ofElemental , is Fireland . This is the motherland of every living fire element inElemental , and it ’s where Bernie and Cinder follow from . Through flashback , Elementalexplained that Bernie and Cinder open a shop like The Fireplace in Fireland , but it was destroy by a storm , go forth them only with their blue fire . Bernie realized the only manner to give his family a better life was to leave Fireland , and so he and Cinder immigrate to Element City . Fireland is surrounded by fighting volcanoes and the sign and businesses are shaped like oil lamps , and all resident have a spicy fire . Fireland is only seen in flashbacks inElemental .
Airland
If Fireland exists , it mean there ’s a land for each element in the populace ofElemental . Although it ’s not show at all , the ending ofElementalhints at Ember and Wade leave Element City to go to Airland . Wade ’s mother gets Ember an internship with a glass designer after seeing her talent in glassmaking . Ember bring up that the internship is far off and will last a duet of month , and she and Wade are last see leaving Element City together . Given that Ember will be learning more about glassmaking , she and Wade could be on their style to Airland , thus setting up a sequel .
