The ‘ Doll Hunt ’ was when a small team of salient members of society hunted an unwitting group of Replicants – include Elle . After Elle survived , she tracked all of them down one - by - one , and her vengeful foreign mission has result her here . However , what Elle did n’t count on was that she was being tracked herself by a Blade Runner name Brook Marlowe , who blast his manner into this reinforced home and attacked Elle without hesitation . This episode showed the two of them engage in larger-than-life combat , and in the destruction , neither was successful in murdering the other – which is really much more telling on Marlowe ’s part than it may seem .
Elle only survived the ‘ Doll Hunt ’ because she was n’t like the other Replicants being hunt . They were design by Niander Wallace , Jr. to be subservient to humans , but Elle was design to be an expert assassinator . Niander Wallace Jr. ’s plan was to have Elle assassinate his father – along with these other hoi polloi to cover up that plan character assassination – to take over the society , and his slimy plan winds up being successful . Elle proves that there is n’t a single somebody she ca n’t geld through ( literally ) . Elle can dodge gunshot and take on an full squad of veteran killer with easiness , yet she could n’t kill Marlowe . Marlowe was Elle ’s equal , which is insane considering Elle is a super strong , extremely truehearted Replicant who was specifically created to be an expert killer , and Marlowe is just a regular human Blade Runner .
While Deckard was able to take out multiple Replicants in a single film , he effectively lose his combat against Roy – a dying Replicant who had all but lost his judgment . Meanwhile , Marlowe is holding his own against the virulent Replicant inBlade Runnerhistory , and in the operation , makingDeckardlook absolutely pathetic by comparison .
