One Mr. Meeseeks Survived Rick & Morty’s “Meeseeks and Destroy”
InRick and Morty : Crisis on C-137#4 by Stephanie Phillips and Ryan Lee , Rick and Morty are on the run from literally every enemy Rick has ever made across the multiverse . From the Vindicator ’s Supernova tothe king of the sea himself , Mr. Nimbus , there are no shortage of increasingly pestilent villains who want to see Rick all in – and the person who bring them all together was none other than a Mr. Meeseeks . At the commencement of the issue , readers are given a flashback to the day Jerry improved his golf swing and helped all the Meeseeks reach out their expiry – and while most of the Mr. Meeseeks were able to melt , one of them survived . Not knowing why he was still animated , this Mr. Meeseeks decided that the only affair to do to ensure his own destruction is to kill Rick – but he ’d involve help , which is how Rick and Morty found themselves in this multiverse - wide crisis event .
While this Mr. Meeseeks may have outlast “ Meeseeks and Destroy ” , Rick made sure to end his reign of scourge once and for all in this comedian . One interesting thing about Mr. Meeseeks is that their macrocosm look entirely on their perception of an established task , notthe Meeseeks ' actual acquirement of say task . So , Rick tell apart the Meeseeks that the reason he was still alive was that – before the case of “ Meeseeks and Destroy”–Rick on the QT gave Mr. Meeseeks the task of get hold all of his enemies ( which the Meeseeks did ) and then kill them , followed by the order for the Meeseeks to forget that task and serve Jerry with his thing . This explanation as to why he did n’t evaporate in “ Meeseeks and Destroy ” was enough for this Meeseeks , and he then turn his attending on Rick ’s enemies rather than the scientist himself . Obviously , this was a lie , and this Meeseeks was merely trip up in some convoluted web of labor stemming from Jerry ’s worthlessness – but it puzzle out all the same .
Not only was thisRick and Mortycomic a fun adventure that feature the great villain in the serial publication ’ account along withthe rooter - favoriteMr . Meeseeks , but it was also a genuinely larger-than-life recall to one of the show ’s most beloved episode , while also letting fan see the installment ’s mysterious conclusion that was n’t present on T.V.
