Thor : Ragnarokfollowed Thor as he teamed up with the Hulk to miss the alien planet Sakaar so he could save Asgard fromHela ( Cate Blanchett),his sister who was about to trigger Ragnarök . During his time in Sakaar , Thor assemble Valkyrie , a former Valkyrie warrior who was now an alcohol-dependent striver trader . Valkyrie went back to being a warrior and a Hero of Alexandria when she team up up with Thor , Hulk , and Loki to hold open Asgard , in what Thor named “ The Revengers ” . The squad did n’t last long , but for some rationality , Marvel has now thrown a weird insult at it inThe Marvels .

The Revengers formed in Sakaar , when Thor and Bruce were stress to come up with a plan to escape . Valkyrie let Thor hump she was quick to join his squad to escape Sakaar and asked what the name of the team was . Valkyrie , as King of New Asgard , agrees to avail and points out that Danvers now seems to be working in a team , though an “ unwitting ” one , as Danvers says . Valkyrie then says she ’s familiar with being part of an “ unintentional squad ” , though adds that it will benefit her . Valkyrie was refer to her meter with the Revengers , which does n’t make much sentience as she in reality profit a hatful from being part of the squad .
Why Valkyrie’s Revengers Complaint Makes No Sense
Valkyrie being part of an “ unplanned team ” really saved her as it took her out of Sakaar and allow her to become a warrior again . Although the Revengers were n’t able to bring through Asgard , their rescue of the surviving Asgardians lead to the creation of New Asgard on Earth , which thenled to Valkyrie becoming King . It does n’t make sense , then , that Valkyrie would be complain about being in an “ unintentional team ” when that team saved her life and ground her path to Asgard ’s throne . Although she tried to soften it by telling Danvers that she would benefit from her team - up with Kamala and Monica , the damage againstThor : Ragnarokwas already done .
