Erin Lindsay’s Exit Fit Her Character On Chicago PD
InChicago PDseason 4 episode 22 , Erin Lindsay was on a hard case trying to discover a young boy before he died . alas , she take it too far in the investigation and put her grease-gun in the defendant ’s back talk in the enquiry elbow room . This led to Internal Affairs investigate the situation , and because of her alignment with Voight , they were n’t going to let her off easy . This top to Voight getting Lindsay a problem at the FBI in New York . give her background with Voight , it made sense that she crossed the line for a victim and thatVoight would carry through her again .
It was deplorable to see Sophia leave the show , but the writers apply her a good conclusion . She had dug herself a muddle that she would n’t be able-bodied to escape . Her female parent also was wrapped up in a murder investigating inChicago PDseason 4 episode 23 . So she need to allow Chicago to escape her female parent , who always seemed to fetch her down . She had a felicitous ending of affect up in her career and lead her past behind her .
Jay Halstead’s Chicago PD’s Exit Was Uncharacteristic For Him
Jay Halstead’sChicago PDexit was n’t true to his character . He was always the boy spotter , but in the first few episodes of time of year 10 , the writers had him acting as Hank Voight ’s protege overnight . He was always with his sergeant , even lying to his wife , Hailey Upton ( Tracy Spiridakos ) . This was n’t the Halstead thatChicago PDhad express for nine seasons .
