About mid - mode through the warfare , the Skrulls dropped a small army of Super - Skrulls on New York City , and it was up to Captain Marvel ( who was then called Ms. Marvel ) to fight them off . However , during this battle , Carol went head - to - header with the aforementioned ultimate Super - Skrull , which both made her job endlessly harder and shockingly easy .
Captain Marvel Wasn’t Stronger Than The Ultimate Super-Skrull, But She Was Smarter
