The Neocracy assure to mutate every person on the major planet , make everyone a member of one ‘ master race ’ . The Cables were initially on the same page about destroy the Neocracy , but in the previous emergence , Nate was seemingly converted to the Neocracy ’s causal agency , and shot Cable in the head .
This exit open with Cable lying on the level , seemingly stagnant . However , readers quickly learn that he did n’t go bad , which was n’t inadvertent on Kid Cable ’s part . Apparently , Nate has a plan brewing that ask Cable to seem dead , and for those trying to give ascension to the Neocracy to trust him . Indeed , the Neocracy actually requires an infusion of Nate ’s techno - organic computer virus so as to ‘ come online ’ , as integrate the mutating nature of the computer virus would allow the Neocracy the ability to infect and mutate all of humanity , as it ’s designed to .
The preview terminate with Kid Cable about to crochet himself into the Neocracy engine , without fully exploring the worrying body horror taking place on Cable # 4 ’s screening .
Cable ’s purpose is one of the X - Men ’s most iconic , despite its tragical backstory - and it turns out that Nathan ’s cyborg spirit was ultimately inevitable .
Cable’s Techno-Organic Virus Will Allow Him to Fuse with His Younger Self
While the preview neglected to feature any noted examples of dead body repulsion , the cover of the military issue makes up for that in spades . The covering artistic creation shows Cable merge with Kid Cable- figure and techno - organic flesh likewise - make a mess of stringy and metallic skin associate like strands of glue between them . Cable#4 evidence both Cables receive a baseless spate of uncontained techno - organic elaboration , resulting in the formation of fantastic tendril fusing together in a truly unsettling video display of body horror . Interestingly enough , this is n’t the first time this has pass off . One of the most notable consequence in Cable ’s history that register his techno - organic virus going haywire was during his crosswalk series with Deadpool , where Cable took his telekinetic focussing away from his ever - spreading virus for the sake of his larger charge , and the result was the ungoverned bed cover of the computer virus , turning Cable into unstructured mass of metal flesh .
While it seems Cable and Kid Cable have their power under a small more ascendancy than Cable did inCable & Deadpool- as it may be a part of Nate ’s grand plan to take down the Neocracy - that ’s not guaranteed . Perhaps both Cables have finally lost control of the virus that has haunted Cable since birth , and the result is this awful amalgamation . However , no matter the circumstances , it ’s clear to see from this preview alone ( specifically the screening ) thatCyclops ’ son , Cable , is about to showcase one of his most macabre displays of body repulsion inX - Menhistory .
