Wallace is curious about their methods and believe their secrets could help in his own research and development . While on the trail , Luv goes to the home of a wealthy womanhood with a Replicant butler . Luv note that the butler is a Replicant right away , but she does n’t count on him attacking her by chance during Luv ’s audience with this woman . After that , the woman assail Luv herself , attain her over the head and pushing her fount - down in a fountain until she passed out .
This scene is a glorious good example of foreshadowing for Luv ’s character , and in more ways than one . InBlade Runner 2049 , Luv is hunt down down the first Replicant who was of course conduct for the same ground she was tracking the secret Replicant - making installation in2039 .
