Another is the newly introduced Catbois , who are a gang of factor - marry humanlike computerized axial tomography people who carry on in the original Catwoman ’s name . Now , Batman Beyondis taking thing one pace further by not simply showing the legacy of an originalBatmanvillain , but by in reality lend them back into canyon - and in this case , this fussy villain ’s comeback is incredibly shocking . In the first issuing of this all - newBatman Beyondseries , Terry McGinnis ’ Batman teams up with a Catboi named Kyle . Kyle report to Batman that he witness several children go lack , as they were seemingly ‘ consumed ’ by the original Gotham City know as Under Gotham . Neo - Gotham was quite literally built on top of the ruination of the original Gotham City , though the horror of Under Gotham are not drained , even if they have apparently been forgotten . So , in light of this on-going tragedy , Batman and Kyle head down to Under Gotham in search of the missing kids . In the last few panels , Terry gets snatched up by a reptilian behemoth later confirmed to be Killer Croc . However , the shot happened so tight , and without a clear video as to what this villain really take care like . But now , on these two slice of artwork represent on the cover of issue # 2 , the full , horrific sizing of King Croc is revealed , and it ’s dead jaw - dropping .
While it has n’t been formally confirm how or why Killer Croc grow to this size , what fans do bonk is that he ’s been alone in the sewerage of Under Gotham , operating completely ungoverned , and abide from a chromosomal mutation with plenty of mysterious components to it for twenty - five years , so there are mess of explanations that can / will be explored . However , regardless of how or why Killer Croc became this kaiju - sized monster , the biggest takeaway from this trailer is the fact that he is this monstrously gigantic , as the second issue of this newBatman Beyondcomic serial publication debuts the perfectly sensational concluding descriptor of iconic Gotham villain , Killer Croc .
