Michael showed up at the prom dressed as Shakespeare with Mandella also dressed for the affair , and it was a truly wholesome import to see these two finally together after those canny and adorable exchange .

Paulette ’s struggles were very actual , and it was heartwarming to see her moving on from her past , toxic relationship and into a healthy , loving one .
