Ben ’s father was the one who called Knox as Ben was n’t doing thing justly , making him the real mastermind inRoad House , even if he was never shown . Even though Ben did n’t do things as his father expected , the latter would surely not be ok with the death of his son , especially as Dalton was need , and he hired Knox to kill Dalton . Ben ’s father has firm reasons to return inRoad House 2 in a big capacity , and even more as , atthe oddment ofRoad House , Dalton leave Glass Key and Knox was break in a mid - credits scene to be alive .
